This study is aimed at investigating the effect of organizational trust in the relationship between leader self-sacrifice and organizational identification. Sample size was calculated by conducting Cochran’s formula, and research data was collected by distributing questionnaire between 180 employees of Municipality in Golestan province. The hypothesized model was tested by conducting structural equation modeling in AMOS software. Research results indicated that the leader self-sacrifice is positively related to organizational identification. It also indicated that organizational trust is a mediator and moderator of the relationship between leader self-sacrifice and organizational identification.
